There are two separate dwellings available for rent, depending on the number of guests you have. The Cottage can sleep around 6-12 persons, while the Cabin Bach can sleep up to 4 persons. These two dwellings are next door to each other, with a carport between them providing covered access to both if required. However, each can be rented separately, and there is still ample privacy.

Cottage

The Cottage Holiday Home is a rustic, spacious 3 bedroom house with open plan kitchen, lounge, dining and living areas for larger groups or families to play and relax.

Rooms consist of the King Room (King bed + camper), Queen Room (Queen bed + single), and Bunk Room (Singles x 3). For sports groups or for a large number of children, we can add up to three extra single camper beds to the open plan living area behind the lounge as shown in the last photo (max 12 occupants in Cottage). Cot and highchairs are available at a small extra fee.

This house has a substantial deck that overlooks a private bush and stream setting and terraced gardens. There is ample parking area and a large back lawn for extra cars, a tent, or a game of tiggy. Heating includes a log fire plus heatpump / airconditioner in the lounge and oil heaters in the bedrooms. Facilities include TV, DVD player, BBQ, washing machine, and full kitchen crockery and appliances including stove and dishwasher are provided.

The Cottage is situated next door to the Cabin, separated by a covered carport. Beside the carport is also a shared Spa Pool (Hot Tub) for use by guests of both buildings. Where there are intermittent rental periods, the Spa Pool is drained until the next guests are due to arrive. If you would like to enjoy the hot Spa during your stay, just put your request in at booking time and it will be filled and heated prior your arrival.

The situation of these two buildings is perfect for larger families or sports groups staying as a team. There is covered access through the carport to both buildings, yet the buildings are spaced apart sufficiently to give privacy between the two. We have had several sports groups where the students have bunked together in the Cottage rooms, and the coach and manager have retained the quieter private rooms in the Cabin.

The Cottage is great for families with kids, as there is no main road nearby and no traffic to worry about. Children can play freely on the Cottage grounds in relative safety.

Other facilities on the upper Lodge grounds include sand pit, trampoline, play house, and volleyball net. There is a fishpond up by the Lodge and a small stream at the very bottom of the farm, so younger children do need to be supervised when they are leaving the immediate Cottage grounds.

Prices include all towels and linen as provided on arrival, and the cost of cleaning them at the end of your stay. We just ask that the kitchen is left clean and tidy as you found it, when you leave.
