There are two residences available for Bed & Breakfast;

The Lodge
The main Lodge is a modern brick home with new décor, lots of open living space, and internal heating and air conditioning throughout. It has a total of 5 bedrooms, 2-3 used by the hosts and their family who live at the far end of the house. Two guest rooms towards the front of the house are fitted out with quality linen and comfortable beds, have bathrooms either internal or attached, and have easy access to the main entrance.
The main Lodge boasts lots of windows with great views out over the deck and the tree-lined acreage. Surrounding views are of Mount Ngongotaha, the Pukehangi hills covered in sheep, and on clear mornings you can even spot Mount Tarawera. During festivities you can sometime see the fireworks from the town center or the stock car club in Paradise Valley.
Our Lodge is a family lodge. This means it is lived in. Even though we have a new home and keep it nice and tidy, it is a real home - you will feel comfortable slouching on the couch. We are not worried about a bit of sand tracked in by the kids – after all there is such a thing as a vacuum cleaner!

The Cabin Unit
The Cabin is a separate dwelling about 50m down the private drive, and semi-attached to the Cottage Holiday Home. This a more private and affordable option for two couples traveling together, or a family of four.
There are two bedrooms with a Queen bed in each, with internal heating and aircon in each room. The bathroom is modern and compact with shower, vanity, toilet, and hairdryer.
There is also a miniature kitchenette containing basic facilities such as microwave, toaster, jug, electric fry pan, fridge, and some basic crockery. Great for reheating or quick meals on the run.
A small TV-lounge is situated near the main front deck, giving great views of contoured gardens, bush, stream and trees. You will think you are in the jungle! |
